Not much has been said on the internet about the participatation of the USS Oklahoma City (CG-5) during the evacuation of Saigon (VN). She was in Command of the Evacuation.
The Oklahoma City was a Cruiser that had Missles and 5in & 6in mounts.
The Commander of 7th Fleet (3 Star Admiral/Vice Admiral) was assigned & served in this ship during all operations.
This ship landed 13 helicopters (HC-2) with over 154 men/women & children during this operation.
